FM Surface Coatings Building

For over 65 years, FM Surface Coatings have provided quality surface coating workmanship and service to the greater Waikato area.

As the founding industry for Forlong & Maisey Ltd in 1946, our division offered services to the dairy industry by way of tin plating brass pipes and milking machine parts. Chrome plating of car bumpers was also a large part of the electroplating division, until the plastic bumpers of today's cars replaced these.

In 2009, FM Surface Coatings (formally FM Metal Processing) was rebranded to reflect a clearer direction of the company and its future vision. With the culmination of the original service of metal polishing and electroplating, FM Surface Coatings has developed into a one stop shop for a range of coatings.
